Black Kashmir Day: Sargodha’ites comes out on streets

With a view to expressing solidarity with Kashmiri people against Indian lock down of valley and illegal revocation of Kashmir status, a grand rally marking Black Kashmir Day was taken out by scores of Sargodha’ its led by Commissioner Zafar Iqbal Sheikh and attended by MPAs Faisal Farooq Cheema, Iftikhar Hussain Gondal and Deputy Commissioner, besides a large number of government officials, teachers and other walks of life. The rally commenced from Company Bagh, went through different bazars and culminated at the same place. Participants of the rally holding flags of Pakistan and Kashmir besides placards, banners and panaflexes chanted slogans in favour of Kashmir freedom and condemned Indian atrocities being committed in IoK.

            Addressing the rally, Commisioner Zafar Iqbal Sheikh said, “Today citizenry participation in large number in this rally has proved that we are united with Kashmiris and continue to extend our support to Kashmiri people in all its forms and manifesationsin for their right to self-determination. Indian occupied forces while violating international norms and laws have usurped rights of Kashmiris and made the territory cage for them. Despite Indian atrocities being committed for the last 72 years, Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom is still alive and India fails to subdue them. Whole Muslim Ummah pays tribute to Kashmiris resolve for contusing freedom struggle against Indian forces.”

Parliamentary Secretary for Excise and Narcotics Control, MPA Faisal Farooq Cheema urged the global community to exercise their influence on India to end their lock down, lift curfew and restore means of communication in the valley and impose economic restriction on India if they don’t heed to Kashiris demands.

Deputy Commissioner Asya Gull said on the occasion that foreign media has exposed Indian nefarious designs regarding settlement of Hindus in IoK and converting Kashmiris into minority. India is resorting to state terrorism in valley which should be ended at all cost.
