On the directions of Govt., different Organizations of Social sector and public institutions have arranged rallies to express solidarity with kashmiri brethern and to condemn the indian forces atrocities with innocent kashmiris. A rally was held under the joint arrangements of World Columnist Association and Faisalabad Press Club which was led by Divisional Commissioner Mehmood Javed Bhatti. Additional Commissioners Rai Wajid Ali, Khadim Jilani,Director Lyallpur Museum Tariq Javed, DD Information Subhan Ali, Columnist Rana Zahid Iqbal,Rana Riaz,Dr.Jaffar Hassan Mubarik, Secretry Faisalabad Press Club Ashfaq Hashmi, Journalists GA Tanvir, Shafat Hameed Sindhu, Sajid Khan, people from different walks of life were also participated in the Kashmir Solidarity rally.
The rally was started from District Council chowk and culminated at Katchri Bazar Chowk after passing through Khaleeq Qureshi Chowk and Infornt of Faisalabad Press Club. The participants of rally were carrying Pakistani and AJK National flags, banners and placards inscribed slogans of Kashmir solidarity and against India and they were also wearing black stripe on their arm to condemn indian brutality in held Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion Divisional Commissioner has said that the Pakistani nation could not be remained silence on the gross violation and brutality of Indian forces with the innocent kashmiries and we would raise the voice on all forum in support of kashmiri brethren. He said that Indian forces had restained the kashmiris in curfew last 103 days that was a clearcut violation of human rights and we would support the kashmiries till our last breath.He said that whole nation had created effective awareness in the world about the oppression and brutality of Indian forces on the innocent kashmiri people. He said that kashmir solidarity day was being observed on every friday to highlight the message that the people of pakistan were with the kashmiri people. He said that the sacred blood of innocent kashmiri people being shed in their struggle and fight since long years will definitely attain the desired objective of achieving independence of occupied kashmir. He saluted the sacrifices of kashmiri people and vowed that we would continue the support till their independence. Commissionet said that cleverness and shrewdness of Moodi Government has been disclosed before the world. Columnist Rana Zahid Iqbal, Rana Riaz, DrJaffar Hassan Mubarik said that we will not leave the kashmiri brethren also in their difficult time and now this moments of their independence were very near because India had taken the illegal step of annascation of held kashmir. Secretary Faisalabad Press Club Ashqaf Hashmi,GA Tanvir and other Journalists also spoke on the occasion and condemned the indian brutality in held kashmir and said that the Kashmir was the integral part of Pakistan. They said that the every citizen of Pakistan was protesting on the brutality being done by the Indian forces and world forum should also take notice of this in human activities. Later Special prayer was also offered for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and independence of held kashmir.
