Did United Nation fail on Kashmir Issue

A seminar was held under the joint arrangements of District Education Authority and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industries on the topic of “Did United Nation fail on Kashmir Issue” here on Thursday at FCCI Auditorium. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali was the chief guest in the Seminar while CEO Education Ali Ahmad Sayan, President FCCI Rana Sikandar Azam, Ex President Syed Zial Alamdar Hussain, DEO Khalid Akthar and other officers were also present on the occasion. The Seminar was attended by a large number of traders, representatives of civil society and students of different educational institutions. Addressing the seminar the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the holding the important seminar on Kashmir issue and said that the Kashmir issue was as old as history of United Nation. He said that the UNO should play its role very seriously to get the Kashmir issue resolved following the resolution of UNO. He said that the Kashmir is integral part of Pakistan and people of Pakistan have stood with the Kashmiri and moral diplomatic support would continue for the
Kashmiris. He said Kashmiri people were struggling for the last 71 years to get freedom and they had rendered a lot of sacrifices in this struggle.   He said that the Kashmir was
the unfinished agenda of partition plan under which Pakistan India
emerged as independent state in 1947.  He said that the right of the self determination should be given to the people of occupied Kashmir to decide their fate on their own will.
He said that the independence was the right of occupied Kashmiri
people and the hearts of Pakistani people were beating with the
Kashmiri brethren.  President FCCI Rana Sikandar Azam saluted the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs and said that their blood would not go waste and the Kashmiri brethren would embrace with the independence very soon. He condemned the atrocities and cruelties of the Indian army with the innocent Kashmiris and demanded the world organizations including Muslim Ummah for taking notice of violation of human rights as the Kashmiris were bearing miseries of Curfew which was worst example of cruelity and oppression. He said that the United Nation Organizations should play its role to get the resolutions of UNO relating to the Kashmir issue implemented in letter and spirit for providing the right of self determination to the Kashmiri people. He said that the entire nation of Pakistan was stood united on Kashmir issue and Kashmiri people would be supported in their struggle of independence.  CEO Education Ali Ahmad Sayan gave the history of United Nation and said that it was came into existence on 24th October for providing plate form to the countries of the world for resolving any world issues and disputes but UNO was seemed to be failed in resolving issue of Kashmir. He said that Kashmiris could not be deprived of their right of independence and the blood of the freedom fighter would be succeeded to achieve their goal. During the seminar the slogans "Kashmir would be Pakistan", "Kashmiri want Justice" were chanted and the national anthem of Pakistan and Kashmir were played in the beginning of the seminar. Later, the Kashmir independent walk was also held which started from the complex of FCCI and ended at Canal road. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali led the walk while the participants of the walk were carrying banners, placards inscribed with slogans in favour of Kashmiri brethren.
